Daniel Jakubik, M.D. is a graduate of the medical faculty at the Medical University of Warsaw. He has also graduated from the Faculty of Management, Warsaw University, Poland. He has been gaining his clinical experience at the Gynecological Endocrinology Department of the Medical University of Warsaw, Furthermore, he worked as a volunteer in several African hospitals during medical missions, where he introduced a cervical cancer diagnostic program. Since he started his scientific career, he has given numerous lectures at medical conferences and received several rewards for his achievements. In 2018, he was selected out of hundreds of candidates for the”TopMinds” training and mentoring program for young scientists, when he started to work with his current mentor Prof. Marek Postula. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, where he is involved in scientific undertakings at the Pharmacogenomic Laboratory. He also perfected his laboratory techniques in the Cardiovascular Research Center at “Magna Graecia” University in Catanzaro, Italy. He is experienced in teaching clinical pharmacology and laboratory methods used for analysis of non-coding RNAs and gene expression.
