Christina Kronberger

Christina Kronberger is currently a fifth-year medical student at the Medical University of Vienna. She has been involved in the work of the Department of Cardiology of the Vienna General Hospital since 2019. At the moment, she is taking part in a project aiming at finding specific biomarkers with a predictive potential for post-TAVR thrombosis. The project is supervised by her mentor, Professor Jolanta Siller-Matula. In her diploma thesis, she focuses on exercise limitation in pulmonary hypertension. Christina’s research interests are pulmonary hypertension and exercise capacity, heart valve thrombosis and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
