Piotr Sulikowski received his M.S. degree in computer science from the Technical University of Szczecin, B.S. and M.S. degrees in management and marketing from the University of Szczecin, and the Ph.D. degree in information technology from the West Pomeranian University of Technology. He also studied innovation at Stanford University.
He has been an Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, West Pomeranian University of Technology, specializing in data science and e-commerce, and Director of Highfliers’ School. He has worked for top consulting firms and venture capital. He was an intern at IBM TJ Watson Research Center in New York, Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy in Leipzig, and European Commission in Luxembourg. His research interests include machine learning, artificial intelligence, recommender systems, and e-commerce.
Dr. Sulikowski’s awards and honors include Minister of Science scholarships, numerous Rector’s awards/grants, Primus Inter Pares Expert and Top 500 Innovators. He initiated Customer Intelligence Research Group, Toastmasters International Szczecin, and TopMinds academic mentoring program by Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission/Top 500 Innovators. He was an expert in new technologies and innovation at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. He serves as Board Member at the National Center of Research and Development in Poland.
